Congratulations to Sam in 1BD for his excellent descriptive poetry about worms.

Sam wrote:

Worms have rings

worms are wrinkly

worms move slowly

worms are prinkly

I really like your nonsense adjective here Sam!

Well done to all of the children in 1BD for a fantastic class acrostic poem about the Galapagos.

Galapagos Islands have a lot of interesting animals

A Blue-Footed Booby bird is one of the animals that lives there

Lava crabs like the lava rocks

All the marine iguanas can swim

Penguins in Galapagos are special because they are the only living penguins near to the equator

At night, Lava crabs eat algae

Giant tortoises have green shells

On the rocks there are lots of lava crabs

Sea lions like to lie in the sun
